The GPS products provided excellent indoor air quality while reducing capital and operating costs:Īmalie Arena’s outside air intake was reduced to 108,000 CFM for a total savings of 94,000 CFM, or about 700 tons of cooling capacity. Using the ASHRAE Indoor Air Quality Procedure, GPS tapped its needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI ®) technology to control airborne contaminants while reducing the amount of outdoor air needed. The project team turned to GPS ® to address the challenge.
